Our wonderful mailman, Bob Stoddard, is retiring this month. His last day will be October 31. It would be great if all of the Silverleaf families honored him in some way on his last day. Some suggestions:
-make him a home-baked treat
-let your children make him a card
-a gift certificate
-a “Happy Retirement” balloon on your mailbox
We have all been blessed to have Bob as our mailman so let’s make him feel extra special on his last day!
If you miss him on his last day and still want to say thank you, his address is 115 Brittany Drive, Greenville, SC, 29615.

I just received wonderful news and I wanted to alert the troops about a surprise we are trying to organize on Tuesday!
Lisa and her Mom are BOOKED on a flight for Tuesday that arrives GSP at 4:20pm.
What her family would LOVE is to have all her friends lining the streets of Silverleaf when they pull in to the neighborhood to take her home.
1) PURPLE and White BALLOONS- on as many mailboxes as possible.
2) Welcome Home posters/ Banners etc. The kids could make these.
3) Every able body on the street as they pull in to the neighborhood.
Let’s plan on everybody having the neighborhood ready by no later than 5:00pm Tuesday. ( If not a bit sooner) so everything will be in place when she pulls in!
Please pass this email on to your Silverleaf Neighbors and spread the word
Please remember that boats, trailers and RV’s are prohibited from being parked in driveways or where visible from the street, as specified in the Silverleaf Covenants and Bylaws.
If you need a place to store these items, Delta Self Storage is close, and has very reasonable rates. They have covered and non-covered storage available, as well as mini-warehouses. For more information, you can contact James Ward, the owner, at 877-0594 or visit them at 2260 River Rd (across from the car wash near the intersection of The Parkway and S Batesville Rd).
If you haven’t done so already, please update your directory entry and drop it off to Cindy Gillanders as soon as possible. You can download and print the update form here.
