A work day is planned for this Saturday, April 10th, 2010. The purpose is to get the Pavilion area ready for the season.
In addition to our regular clean up, we’ll be placing around 400 bales of Pine straw around the Pavilion, Pool, and Tennis Courts. You shouldn’t need any tools other than your hands, so bring gloves. If you’ve got a motorized blower, that will come in handy for dressing up the beds at the end. We’ll be meeting at the Pavilion to share a little breakfast (Doughnuts and coffee this time) and fellowship at 8:00 AM, and will begin work about 8:30 AM. We will be running into the Lunch period, so we will provide Pizza. Tell your friends and neighbors. Let’s make this a true community event.
In the event of inclement weather, we’ll move our work day to April 17th.
Please RSVP to Derek Garrett @ Derek.garrett@charter.net. I need to know how many are coming so I can buy the appropriate coffee and doughnuts. Also let me know if you need any special food needs.
See you there
